Pumas, Parties, and Pumpkins

Yay for candy and an extended Halloween celebration! I guess the most important detail from Halloween would be that I was a puma (and actually, I was a "racehorse puma" by the end of Halloween night). Yes, I came up with that idea all by myself. Ethan was going to be a tiger and Hailey wanted to be a black cat. Mom suggested I be a lion, but I had much grander things in mind (like a costume you can't buy at a store). Anyway, here are just a few of the many pictures taken over the last few weeks of season and holiday celebrating.

Halloween Night
We had a lot fun getting together and trick-or-treating with family and friends. And mom successfully came up with a puma costume for me with a little help from a glue gun.

Pumpkin Carving
Ethan's new word after this family night activity was "guts." And we were very good gut getter.

Parties
Hailey had a school party, and Ethan and I had a play group party (plus Ethan and I got to trick-or-treat at the library). My puma costume was not ready for the play group party so I had to be ghost, but mom was excited because then Ethan could wear her favorite Dumbo costume (she's had it for eight years, and yes, Hailey is only six).

Pumpkin Patch
This is one of our favorite family traditions with the Shirk family, and this year Grandpa Forsgren got to join us as well. We did lots of playing and went for a hayride.

But then after all that fun she lets us have, mom feels justified in making us take lots of group photos. Good think we got some pumpkins out of the deal.

The pumpkin patch looked so fun. One of these years you'll have to take a webcam so the Singer cousins can be part of the mix!
